The Dran Rashar is not an eclectic path, per se; however, the mysteries we hold touch on many paths, and there become many paths to understanding the mysteries. Many Dran Rashar will stay with the path with which they began, even as they advance through the mysteries. This dedication allows that individual to study the mysteries which have been hidden on the path to which they are called. Thus, Dran Rashar who are Christians will have a keen understanding of the mysteries of the story of Yeshua and other Biblical stories. Likewise, Dran Rashar who follow a Nordic path will have deep understandings of the Aesir and the Vanir, of the Ahlfs (elves) and the other mysteries creatures and people, and of all the deepest mysteries and secrets of Nordic lore and culture. Dran Rashar follow Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, Lakota, and many other traditions.

This page is a collection of understandings and wisdom from those on various paths within the Dran Rashar. The statements on this page may quote mysteries or grant revelations, but may also simply be the opinion or a musing of the person posting it. In the beginning, most posts will be by Ancient Wolf; however, it is our hope to encourage the Angel Jeremiah Gabriel, and other Dran Rashar to also post their thoughts about the path or paths they follow.

Christianity:

The following video gives a brief overview of the life of Yeshua, Jesus, including information about his "missing years," his wife and his children, who Yeshua's father is, and much more! The Roman Catholic Church, the Priory of Sion and others may not be happy with the release of this video, but these were our mysteries before they were anyone else's mysteries or secrets. They are ours alone to reveal.

H.P. Ancient Wolf (H.P.A.W.) provides the following:

In honor of the Yuletide, I offer explanations about the birth of Yeshua.

YHVH, the Hebrew and Christian God, never wanted to mate with a human in the way that other gods had been doing. He saw that the outcome was not always desirable, making power mad demi-gods. Instead, he reserved his right to do so for only if it became absolutely necessary. Ultimately, it became necessary when a great warrior of love and light was needed to help overcome the evil wrought about on humanity by those Ancients who had rebelled against the Divine.

Thus, Yeshua, the only begotten son of YHVH, a child with both human and Divine DNA, was born to a woman who was previously a virgin. The way the Divine produces off-spring is not literally sex, so she did technically remain a virgin in that sense, until her and her husband had marital relations. The names "Mary" and "Joseph" have deep meanings, and may or may not have been the literal names of Yeshua's parents.

The date of his birth was nowhere near December 25; however, his birth wasn't moved to that date solely to appease converted pagans. In reality, the story of Yeshua's death, resurrection and re-birth are powerful echoes of natural cycles, and akin to other dying and rising gods throughout multiple cultures worldwide. This should be the time of year when his death and resurrection is celebrated, and the reason for the shift is something one learns about with further simultaneous study in both Christianity and the Dran Rashar mysteries. It is not something which can be explained in this space.

The Yule season for Dran Rashar usually lasts from sunset the evening before the Winter Solstice, and culminates with celebrations at sunrise on December 25th. Some Dran Rashar celebrate until January 6th. Horns are sounded and drums are blown at sunset on the evening before the Solstice, and again at sunrise on the day of the Solstice. Usually, a candle is lit during the entire day, and a separate candle for the entire night during the Winter Solstice. There may also be a Yule-fire which will be lit the evening before the Solstice and be kept burning until Yule celebrations are done. We may have a live evergreen to symbolize life thriving even in winter, but we do not cut down a tree just to decorate it. On the morning of the 25th, horns are sounded and drums are beaten to celebrate the birth of the savior.

Perhaps at some point, maybe at Easter, I will explain more about the death and the resurrection; however, if you were to study the other pages on this site, you may just uncover some of those secrets for yourself.

The Ministry and the Early Church, from Dran Rashar history and mysteries and from revelations by the Oracle, Ancient Wolf.

There were four key groups involved either in the ministry of Yeshua, or in the development of the early Christian Church. These are, The Mithras Cult, the Essenes, the Apostles, and the Roman religion, particularly the cult of Apollo.

The Mithras Cult

Mithras was a savior god, much like Yeshua, but about 2,000 years earlier. He appeared near southern Persia at the change between the Astrological Age of Taurus to the Age of Aries. This is symbolized in Mithraic ritual and myth as the slaying of the bull.

Mystics in Persia, who called themselves Magi, revived the foundering Mithraic cult. Rome’s evolvement in Persia allowed the Magi to assure that the Elite amongst the Romans would bring Mithraism back to Rome with them.

Yeshua and Mithras had a few things in common, and this was supposed to allow the Romans to recognize Yeshua when he appeared. Mithras was a key player in the first battle against the rebellious Ancients. In addition, Yeshua was born at the changing of the Age from Aries to Pisces, which is the Astrological Age which is ending around the same time as the grand Age. YHVH drew upon the power of this change, along with the rest of the Divine, to create Yeshua and the other saviors who were sent to people around the world at that time. Of course they also had a “last supper” type ritual in common, and they both drew upon solar “dying and rising” cycles for the power of their ultimate victories. The presence of a halo and a crown of thorns, the halo traditionally being a solar deity representation, are early signs that some Christians knew of this relationship. (the crown of thorns was always painted rather similar in appearance to solar rays, like the solar rays on the head of Mithras and other solar gods.)

The descendents of the same Magi who revived the Mithraic cult in Persia are the same Magi who sought out Yeshua at his birth. I have not determined the truth behind the royal infanticide order which is recorded in the New Testament.

The Essenes

The Essenes were descendents of an ancient order of Hebrew Rabbis, which had originated with the Levites before the split of Israel and Judah. It involved mystical knowledge and understanding from the time of Abraham, the time in Egypt and the mysteries Moses learned, the time of David and his son Solomon, and the time of the later prophets all the way to the Maccabees.

The Essenes themselves organized their own order apart from the ancient Hebrew order. The Essene teachings were focused on the Messiah, and different Essenes interpreted differently what the term Messiah (literally “anointed one”) means.

Messiah became a title among the Essenes. At first it was intended as a “holding place” title for the person who would lead secret ceremonies to honor the coming Messiah. Many Essenes who held the title ended up thinking they were The Messiah, and used their knowledge of Hebrew mysticism to try to fulfill that role themselves. They were desperate for The Messiah to come because many thought he was going to overthrow the Roman hold on Judea. They didn’t realize that the battle he was going to win was much greater than they could imagine.

John the Baptist was the last Essene to hold the title Messiah. Even though John held the title, he didn’t prefer to use it to describe himself because he knew The Messiah was coming really soon. By this time, the division amongst them, largely caused by those who thought they were “The Messiah,” had shattered them into a small group, and John sought answers from God through rituals in the wilderness. Baptism itself, he discovered, would be the symbol for the new Astrological Age, being the water Age of Pisces. No longer was an animal sacrifice necessary. (The Dran Rashar DO baptize.)

Joseph, the step-father of Yeshua, was also an Essene. Yeshua was taught about who he was from a young age and taught some of the Essene mysteries, as Joseph and Mary had been told by a messenger from the Dran Rashar. He assured that when Yeshua reached puberty, he would go and live amongst the Essenes for teaching. The Essenes discovered they didn’t have much to teach Yeshua, but they still were not sure he was The Messiah, having been fooled so many times before. When a few of them became convinced he was The Messiah, they told him to seek out John the Baptist.

Yeshua snuck away from the Essenes and sought out John in the wilderness, where he had been teaching people to be prepared for The Messiah. Yeshua demonstrated all of the signs of The Messiah, and John almost immediately knew who he was. Yeshua lead his own ministry, apart from the Essenes who didn’t believe in him. He eventually called Peter, one of the Essenes who had believed in him, to be one of his Apostles.

One final note about the Essenes is that as Yeshua was The Messiah amongst all other previous Messiahs, he became known to his followers who understood that as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.”

The Apostles

The Apostles tried to carry on the message of Yeshua after his death and resurrection, but they were somewhat divided as to what the most important part of his message was. When Paul entered the scene, the “13th Apostle,” politics really started soiling Yeshua’s message.

The early Christians were mostly Jewish people, and they did not really call themselves “Christians. They acted largely as a sect of Judaism with Yeshua’s teachings, including a few of the Essene teachings which Yeshua gave. Unlike traditional Jewish beliefs, the early Christians had a communist system of operation, not government, which was based on Yeshua’s teachings.

Paul, the Roman Jew, was good intentioned, but he was very politically minded and very enwrapped in legalism and a Roman cultural sense of order. He ended up interpreting Yeshua’s teachings in mostly good ways, but corrupted enough with his own ideas as to have a major negative influence on the early Christian “Church.”

The Romans

The Roman solar myths were based on the cycles of the seasons, with a dying and rising sun god. This was true of many cultures, but the Roman culture particularly figured into the formation of the roots of today’s Christianity. The reason cultures, such as the Romans, were taught these myths, and the reason many of them included stories of their dying and rising gods also being “savior gods,” is because it was hoped that people would recognize Yeshua when he arrived.

The Conflict

It was hoped that these diverse teachings would lead to a diverse understanding of Yeshua’s Gospel. It was hoped that each would discover their commonality, and that a more global understanding of the Divine could be achieved through such diverse messages all leading to Yeshua. It was never intended that humans set up politically structured churches which divide those who follow the Gospel.

Unfortunately, they saw their differences more than their similarities, and most even refused to accept Yeshua as the one to whom their prophecies were leading them. Of course, this is largely because Christianity looked very different from Yeshua’s teachings by the time most people realized any sort of similarities.

Constantine

Emperor Constantine was visited by the resurrected Yeshua in an attempt to restore his message. The Emperor was told about the link to Roman pagan traditions, including the cults of Apollo and Mithras (the Mithras cult originating in Persia, but taking firm root amongst the Roman Elite.) As the Emperor, it was hoped that he would be able to bring all of these elements together into a new way of thinking.

He did exactly that, but in the self-centered fashion of a Roman Emperor. He believed that he was Yeshua, Mithras and Apollo all rolled into one. He had Christianity rewritten to his liking by the priests of the Empire, assembling the old texts he liked and omitting the Essene teachings which would have more clearly showed that he lacked the character of The Messiah. He wanted to be Rome’s Messiah and save the crumbling Empire. While he had his cults, most of the priests accepted his authority while rejecting him as Yeshua or the Messiah.

When Constantine passed, the priests decided they did not want political leaders to have such influence in religious affairs, so they slowly changed the “Holy Roman Catholic Church” to suit their own political whims and spiritual interpretations. Emperors and kings still occasionally had a lot of influence over church matters, but the church likewise had a lot of control and influence over political matters.

Thus, Constantine only made the confusion over Yeshua’s message even greater instead of restoring the true power of it as was intended. One of the goals of the Dran Rashar is to restore Yeshua’s power and message in the hearts, minds and souls of everyone.

The Nature of Yeshua, the Death, the Resurrection, the Ascension

The Nature of Yeshua (the man we call Jesus the Christ.)

It is first important to have a basic understanding of Yeshua's nature before one can understand the mysteries we will reveal about his death and resurrection, and it is especially important to understanding the Ascension.

Yeshua, as we discussed around Christmastime of last year, was half Divine, being the son of YHVH (Yahweh/Jehovah) and of the Hebrew woman Mary. He had both Divine insight and providence from early childhood; however, he was not fully "God" at that point.

When Yeshua left the Essenes, as we discussed previously, he sought out John the Baptist in the wilderness and was baptized by him. When he was baptized, he underwent the ultimate symbol for this Age, and the Holy Spirit literally descended upon him. The Bible records that a loud voice at that moment declared, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Yeshua had lead an exemplary life and was embarking upon his ministry. The power of God filled him fully at that moment and his ministry began. At that moment he began to become fully God. The transfiguration, mentioned Matthew 17: 1-8, is when he completed becoming fully God, and gave his secrets to Peter, James and John to preserve for after the resurrection. However, the spirit of God cannot dwell long in the form of a man, and Yeshua knew that this would only be for a time.

The Betrayal

Yeshua knew that the fullness of God could not long dwell on Earth. (Simply put, God set rules at the beginning, if God were to violate the rules then Creation would not be how it is intended to be. This is one of those rules.) It was made known to him at the Transfiguration that he would die and be resurrected, in the dying and rising God tradition, as a symbol for all that his ministry was true, Holy and Divine. He was not entirely happy with this news, but knowing that he couldn't keep the fullness of the Divine within him anyway, he somewhat resigned himself to that fate.

When it came close to time for the Divine Spirit to leave him (of course he would still be half Divine, but not fully God on Earth) he decided that his best move would be to make a big religious statement.

Having been upset for a while about the commerce he had heard rumors of in the Temple, he decided to go see for himself. He saw the vile cheats and thieves in such a Holy place and his Divine anger poured out. It is recorded in Matthew 21: 12-17 & 21-27, as well as elsewhere in the Gospels, that he overturned tables, and chased out people cursing at them for desecrating God's Temple.

Disrupting commerce wasn't something Romans took too kindly to, and as we have discussed before, they thought he was going to cause basically a Communist uprising in Judea, Israel/Judah as part of the Roman Empire. Thus, they thought about arresting him. The priests of the temple, who benefited financially from the illicit trading, wanted his head, but they had no authority to kill him. Thus, they played up his political role to the Romans to force them to act.

Now, Yeshua decided that there was no way he could forever avoid arrest, and his ministry wasn't able to continue in hiding. Thus, he decided on the time of his arrest and chose Judas to do the task. However, he did not tell Judas that he was going to die, nor did he tell the other Apostles, save Peter, what his plans were with Judas. Judas very reluctantly agreed.

When the night of the betrayal was upon him, Yeshua had the idea that maybe God didn't really need him to die, maybe he could send an army of Angels to save him and make his statement that way. He prayed in the garden at Gethsemane, Matthew 26: 36-46, for this burden of dying to be taken from him. While he knew he would rise again, he also knew that dying would be atrociously painful to say the least.

In the next verses in Matthew, Judas' betrayal is recorded. He turned Yeshua over to the authorities, and then ran off madly. He kept wondering if he truly did the right thing. When he found out Yeshua was executed, he went mad. It was thought that he killed himself, but in reality he escaped to Sicily, where the resurrected Yeshua later met him. (that's a long story for another time.)

The Crucifixion

As we all know, Yeshua was brutally beaten and put to death in one of the most heinous ways humanly possible, death on the Roman Cross. The Romans saw him as a political upstart, and this is how they dealt with political enemies in particular. They figured to humiliate him once and for all, but, as we've discussed before, Yeshua's resurrection ended up causing his brutal death to have the opposite effect on his followers.

Yeshua was still holding out hope to the very end that God was going to save him from having to die, which is why it is recorded in Matthew 27:46 that he cried out, "My God My God why have you forsaken me?" (NRSV...also elsewhere in the Gospels.) It was at that moment also that he realized that God could not forsake him, and he accepted his fate. He knew that when he died he would be raised again, and he had already gone through the worst of it.

The Resurrection

One day after his death, life began to return to Yeshua. By the third day he was fully healed and left the tomb. There are many versions of the story as to how he regained his life and who moved the boulder blocking his tomb. However, ultimately, it was because he was still fully Divine up until the point of his death (the Divine spirit temporarily left him right before his death since God cannot die) the Divine spirit was able to reenter him and raise him from the dead, healing his wounds.

The Ascension

It is recorded in Mark and Luke that some time after Yeshua's resurrection, he physically ascended into heaven. However, tradition somewhat correctly states that no one who saw the ascension really knew what was going on.

What actually was happening during the ascension was that the Divine spirit, the fullness of God, was leaving Yeshua, and the man Yeshua (still half Divine) was carried off to safety to live out the remainder of his resurrected life. Only Peter, James and John, those with him at the Transfiguration, truly knew what was going on.

The Gnostics

Legend states that there were three witnesses not recorded in the Bible which were a man and his two wives. One of the women was a relative of Mary Magdalene and was coming to see what had happened to her, as she had not heard from her in some time. She knew that Mary was following the man Yeshua, who people called, "Messiah," or "Christ," and sought her there.

When they arrived, they saw the ascension happening from a distance, and understood that the spirit of God in the form of Yeshua was ascending into heaven. Thus, they immediately became believers, but believed that Yeshua was purely a spiritual being. Thus, their descendents founded some of what became Gnosticism. It was even one of their granddaughters who wrote the Gospel according to Mary Magdalene, because of their familial connection to her.

The Christians

Modern Christians, through Roman Catholic roots, understood the Ascension to mean that Yeshua physically left the Earth. Though Peter, James and John knew the truth, and had known since the Transfiguration, belief that Yeshua had left the Earth entirely was too pervasive, and that became the common belief. Peter, James and John also realized that if the Romans found out Yeshua was alive they would hunt him down. Thus, they kept the secret still. However, John did record a hint for everyone in the last verse of his Gospel, John 21:25 "But there are also many other things that Jesus did; if every one of them were written down, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written." (NRSV) A-men.
